Memorial storytelling is all we do. Wildflower creates memorial slideshows, video tributes, recorded interviews, and celebration of life documentaries, each one crafted by a documentary filmmaker who believes every life is a story worth telling well.
You hand us the shoebox, we make the life story. Bring us printed photos, phone pictures, old tapes, or a scrapbook, in whatever condition they are in. We restore, sequence, and score, so the tribute that plays at the service is one your family will keep long after it.
You do not need to be in Seattle to work with us. Slideshows, video tributes, and photo restoration all happen over phone, email, and internet from anywhere in the world. Upload your pictures or mail us the originals. Only the on-location work (in-person interviews, live streaming, documentaries) is Puget Sound based, and even then we travel by quote.

Video clips are short, typically under a minute each. Have longer footage or a different mix of photos and videos? Just ask.
Every family hands us something different. A stack of prints, a phone full of pictures, a few short videos, pages pulled from a scrapbook. Some photos arrive torn, faded, or water-stained, and that is fine. You hand us the shoebox, we make the life story.
This is more than a slideshow set to music. Honoring a life takes more than handing photos to a computer program. We restore what needs restoring, sharpen every picture for the big screen, and sequence the moments so the tribute has a beginning, a middle, and an end. Add a few video clips and something remarkable happens: the room hears your wonderful person laugh and watches the way they moved through the world. Then we score the film with licensed music chosen to fit their life.

A celebration of life fills a room with stories, and most of them are told only once. The Celebration Documentary is a documentary film crew at the memorial, capturing the eulogies, the laughter, the unexpected reflections, and the moments of joy you might not expect to find there.
It begins with a conversation. We want to hear about your wonderful person and understand how you want them remembered. On the day, our discreet multi-camera crew films with care while an on-site producer handles the details, freeing you to be present with the people who came.
Build on your Documentary with the Remembrance Chair, a Wildflower original. In a quiet corner of the celebration we set a chair, a camera, and an interviewer, and invite guests to sit down and share a story about your wonderful person, one at a time, in their own words. The result is a collection of remembrances no eulogy can hold: the coworker’s story the family never heard, the old friend who flew in and almost did not speak at all.
Afterward, we shape it all into a cinematic film, scored with licensed music, that preserves the day itself: not just that people gathered, but what they said, and how it felt to be there.

Not everyone who loves your wonderful person can be in the room. Illness, distance, and timing keep people away from the celebrations that matter most. A live stream brings them in.
This is a fully managed broadcast, not a phone propped on a chair. An on-site operator handles framing, sound, and stability with professional equipment, while a dedicated remote producer watches the stream from the other side, ready to help remote friends and relatives get connected the moment they need it. You focus on the room. We take care of everyone beyond it.

Wildflower serves the Puget Sound region, with no travel charge within 30 miles of Seattle. Beyond that, $250 per 50 miles driven. Travel requiring flights or lodging is billed at cost.

Wildflower takes on custom memorial and family storytelling projects of every shape, with full support from planning and filming through editing, narration, and scoring. Based in Seattle, we film across the US and Canada.
